Levy Ladies made light work of their trip to Sawbridgeworth on Sunday with an outstanding performance which earned them another 3 valuable league points and now sees them elevated to second in the Eastern Region Premier League.

Defensively Levy once again proved impenetrable, with captain Jo Williams comfortably commanding a back line comprised of Steph Belcher, Lucy Tape and Heather Eaton, who collectively looked at ease ensuring keeper Jess Devoti recorded her third consecutive clean sheet.

At the other end of the pitch lone striker Nic Hollick was in blistering form, scoring two well taken goals and involving herself in attacking and defensive duties. Wide players Gemma Coggins and Natalie Burrows also made outstanding contributions throughout the match, running a Sawbo back line ragged from start to finish. Kim 'Asbo' Mulgrew produced an assured performance holding the midfield, allowing Charlene Turturici and player of the match Sally Green to dominate the middle of the park, with Green able to surge forward and add a further two goals to her season's tally. Substitutes Donna McAvoy and Holly Markham strengthened Levy's attack when introduced and continued improvements to their game were clearly noticeable.

This was one of Levy Ladies' best performances of the season, against a side they have previously struggled to beat and is just the platform the team were looking for ahead of next week's County Cup Final v Royston which will be played at the County Ground in Letchworth, kick off 3pm.
