Arlesey Ladies must be sick of the sight of The Whites after the two teams played each other in consecutive matches and once again Levy Whites ran out 8 nil winners.

After a bright opening a penalty was awarded on 4 minutes after a blatant handball and all credit to Ellen Salter who stepped up to take responsibility after missing her last spot kick and smashed the ball into the back of the next with an excellent strike.

Just 3 minutes later a Frankie Novelli corner was collected by Cally with her back to goal and her sharp turn and finish put the away team in a comfortable position.

On 18 minutes Cally effectively put the result beyond doubt when she half vollied home with her left foot into the roof of the net, before the lead was extended further on 23 minutes when an Ellen shot was spilled by the goalkeeper and Pru was first to react to tap the ball home.

Pru doubled her tally just after the half hour mark with a delightful chip over the goal keeper and the half time scoreline was 5 nil.

Within 40 seconds of the restart an excellent Cally Salter run once again exposed the Arlesey goal keeper and Leigh was on hand to tap home into an empty net.

Leigh bagged two more goals on 50 and 76 minutes to complete her hattrick and finished the rout at 8 nil.

This was a comfortable performance from the Whites who are brimming with confidence and had they been more clinical could have scored many more on the day.

Sophie Kinley was awarded player of the match for a faultless defensive display and a near 100% pass completion rate.

The Whites have now closed the gap to just 1 point at the top of the table, with a game in hand and a superior goal difference and have that game in hand against Kings Langley Ladies this coming Wednesday.
