Roundup of games played from Saturday 30th August to Thursday 4th September:

On Saturday 30th August, the first team won 2-1 at Harefield United in the FA Cup Preliminary Round. Liam Hind gave Leverstock the lead in the 33rd minute, and Harefield equalised in the 51st minute, but a winner from Jimmy Talbot in the 77th minute sent Leverstock into the First Round Qualifying of the FA Cup for the first time in the club's history, where they will travel to Biggleswade United next Saturday. Team: Jimmy, Mubama, Somers, G.Smith, Wright, O'Keefe, Sears, Woolley, Talbot, Hind, Salako. Subs used: Sobers, Cruickshank. Not used: Warner-Eley, Lake, Bircham, D.Gardner.

At the same time the reserves were also completing a win over Harefield United. The 3-2 win at Pancake Lane brought their first points of the new Suburban League season. On Sunday 31st August Leverstock Green Ladies were beaten 8-1 at Barking to leave them still without a point after two ERWFL Premier Division games. Lucy Tape scored the goal. On Tuesday 2nd September the first team won 4-0 at Ampthill Town in the first round of the Dudley Latham Memorial (Premier Division) Cup. Goalscorers were Liam Hind (2), Louis Bircham and David Sobers. In the second round we will be at home to Berkhamsted on Tuesday 28th October. On Thursday 4th September the under-18s played their opening match in the SCYFL Corinthian Division, and came away with an excellent 2-1 win from Chesham United, with Luke Warner-Eley scoring both goals.
