Leverstock Green progressed into the quarter-finals of the Herts Senior Cup on Tuesday night with a 2-1 home win over Ryman League side Ware. Goals from David Sobers (36 mins) and Dene Gardner (45 mins) put the Green into a 2-0 half-time lead, and although Jermaine Osei pulled one back for the visitors in the second half, Leverstock held on to book a home tie against Berkhamsted in the last eight.
