Under-18s return to winning ways

The under-18s registered their first win since November on Thursday night as they eased past current league leaders AFC Dunstable 5-1 at Pancake Lane. Their schedule over the past couple of months has been decimated by postponements and an abandonment, meaning that they have dropped down to third in the SCYFL Corinthian Division table.

AFC Dunstable remain on top, but have now completed their fixtures, while Leverstock are two points behind with six games still to play. The title is likely to be a three-horse race between Leverstock, Luton Town Cedars and Crawley Green.

Goals on Thursday night were scored by Billy Gardner, Luke Preedy (pen), Alfie Boswell, Daniel Devine and Oliseh Orwud.

Team: Berg, Whitman, McMullen, B.Gardner, Osbourne, Quadri, Adu, Preedy, Boswell, Cole, Devine. Subs used: Payne, Orwud, Clancy, Williamson, Daley.
