Leverstock Green's run of defeats continued when they were beaten 4-2 at title-chasing AFC Dunstable on Wednesday night.
Louis Bircham opened the scoring in the 12th minute from a penalty awarded for handball, but AFC scored twice within a minute from free kicks to take a 2-1 lead. Both free kicks were taken by Newman Carney, with Jermaine Hall heading home in the 21st minute and Danny Ryan heading home a minute later.
Craig Garrett saved a Carney penalty in the 58th minute, but a 3rd AFC goal eventually arrived on 72 minutes when BJ Christie set up Hall for his second.
A 90th minute own goal pulled the score back to 3-2, but a minute later Christie headed in to leave a final score of 4-2.
There was a debut for Dan Griggs, newly-signed from Sun Sports, and a first team debut for George Hobson.
