Steve joined Leverstock Green as manager in August 2009 from Kings Langley. In his four years in charge at Gaywood Park he took the club up from Division Two to Division One of the SSML, and would have taken them into the Premier Division this season, but ground grading issues prevented their promotion despite finishing in second place in their first season in Division One.
