ERWFL League Plate Semi-Final

Ipswich Wanderers 2 Leverstock Green Ladies 4

Leverstock Green Ladies booked their place in the League Plate Final at the weekend, following a strong team performance, which proved too much for hosts Ipswich Ladies. Nic Hollick was back to her best, bagging all four goals, including two from the penalty spot. Strike partner Giselle Subryan ran the Ipswich defence ragged, creating space for Hollick and the Levy midfield to exploit, and would have had a brace herself on any other day.

Keeper Haidee Cable looked comfortable and assured between the sticks and marshalled her back four with confidence and was rarely required to make a save as a result. Despite several tactical changes throughout the match, team captain Jo Williams led from the front and steered her side to a terrific win, which will now see the Green Army face East Thurrock in the final on May 19th.
